    I think it is quite clear that I have been MIA from the blog-o-sphere. As much as I would hate to announce it, I have decided to go on a hiatus. School is starting and I do not know when I will be back. I will try to keep in touch with blogs.

    Like I said in my last post, I had more pictures to upload. It is not a lot actually. I only have two... So check it out? 

    Sorry, I do not have anything fun to discuss these days. I also like to keep my life private so it is hard to write so freely. 

    However, I have been shopping on Gmarket and I really like the casual dresses with a draw string at the waist. It feels very comfortable and similar to rompers.

    I know I basically suck at updating my blog regularly, but I have news!

    I recently created a new blog on FC2. For a company that is based in Nevada, I find it heavily populated with Japanese users which is perfect for my blog. I am still a newb with the language and I wish to practice more of my writing skills, therefore I will primarily be writing entries in Japanese. I suppose I should call it a journal because it is more for myself than anyone to read.

    Otherwise, I will still be using this blog to write in English and talk about whatever events come up. If you know how to speak Japanese, please don't be shy to drop me a line or two in my FC2 blog! I warn that I have forgotten a lot of what I had learned (even bits of hiragana, sadly).


    In other news, I drew some more pictures! I will have to scan them another time in another post. :)

    Maybe I am the last person to discover Photoscape, but I just installed it today. I have always wanted to know how to make an animated gif. and I finally found this program that can make some. It has a lot of other options and uses, but I will probably just use the animated gif. maker for fun.

    I made another drawing digitally and added it to my profile. It is a replica of another photo (from cyworld), but I drew it by mouse. I had a lot of fun coloring the bow, but it turned out musty and chalky. Then my wrist got tired and I chose not to finish coloring the hair and left it as an outline. I am not good with shading at all and it is tedious to change the transparency every time.

    I got tired of the other layout quickly. Maybe I will stay with this one for longer? 

    You might be wondering what that poorly drawn and colored photo is at the side.. Made by yours truly! I wanted to do an outline like the original art, but I am too limited in resources and program at the moment. This is the best I could concoct at this hour, and I hope it is not so much of a hindrance to the appeal of this layout. 

    I would have outline nicer but I drew the picture on paper and scanned it on. Then, I colored it digitally in one shot.. and very messily. No time to fix up or shade or anything. I feel lazy to revisit this picture tomorrow and try to make it nicer, but we will see if patience allows. Note that I do this all with mouse, so precision is limited and might I add, annoying. I wish I had a tablet.
